Vintage Birthday at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

I don't know where time is going lately! I am definitely looking forward to spring coming though. The snow is getting boring now.

For this week's challenge at The Paper Shelter, our theme is FOR THE BOYS, which should give you lots of room for interpretation!

I have used a page from the 'Vintage Nostalgia' colouring book. There are several in there that are perfect for this theme, so be sure to have a browse!

As it's for a male birthday, I kept it very simple and just added a sentiment,

Happy Bee-Day at The Paper Shelter

Hello Crafty Peeps,

Time is flying and we are already into March. Hopefully you have better spring weather than I do!

This week's theme at The Paper Shelter is In The Garden, so you can interpret that how you like.

I have used 'The Queen Bee' for a fun layered birthday card.

I couldn't resist this punny sentiment!

I edged her wings with white marker to make them seem more transparent.

Of course her wings also needed some sparkle!

Favourite Things at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's time for another challenge at The Paper Shelter and this week our theme is Your Favourites

At the end of last year I started going to hot yoga as one opened up near me, and that has now become one of my favourite places to be! It's especially great when it's super cold outside as I warm up immediately.  Veronica has a few yoga-themed images in the store, but I have chosen Zen-sational, as it also features a dragon and they are my favourite mythical creature. To finish off my favourites I have made the main colour purple and added some bling.

Wishing You Happiness at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's time for another challenge at The Paper Shelter and this time our theme is Hearts. What a perfect theme for February, although it doesn't need to be Valentine's related.

I have used page 5 from the Amour Art colouring book for a layered Kraft card. This is a great image which can be used for many occasions.

Birthday Star at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

Happy New Year! Although it does feel weird typing that when January is almost over.

I'm back with my first inspiration of the year for The Paper Shelter. Our theme this week is Anything But Square, which should be super easy as you can use any image for this.

I have taken an page from the Christmas Ornaments colouring book to make a very girly 1st Birthday card. I love changing things up from what they were intended to be for.

It's never easy to capture the sparkles when photographing a whole card, but of course this shining star had to have some!
