Coloured Cards Challenge

I love colour-blocking, so this is a great challenge for me.  I've chosen to use pink as my theme, using products from Papermania.
I made my own stepper card from pale pink card, using a template I found on the web.
To decorate the card I used co-ordinating papers from a Papermania Colossal collection, glueing one piece to the centre step and another to the lower step.
I dry-embossed small cupcakes down each of the side steps, using a brass stencil and also a large cake onto pink card.  Next I cut an oval from thick card and covered it with striped paper, then glued twine around the edge, knotting at the top. I placed the large cake on top with 3D foam pads, then glued this to the centre step.
I measured and cut small triangles from the pink card to create bunting and used a piercing tool to make holes for the twine. I threaded the triangles onto the twine, then further decorated them with a permanent pen.
For the final touch, I used pink shimmer chalk over the embossed areas of the cakes.
